I januari visade Steve Jobs upp den första iphone-modellen, ibland kallad Iphone 2G, som skulle komma att förändra mobilanvändandet för en lång tid framöver. Pekskärmar var förvisso inget nytt, inte heller smarta mobiler. Men Apple lyckades göra den till en produkt som många suktade efter.
”iPhone är en revolutionerande och fascinerande produkt som bokstavligen ligger fem år före alla andra mobiltelefoner”, säger Steve Jobs, Apples CEO. ”Vi är alla födda med det bästa pekdonet - våra fingrar - ett faktum som vi utnyttjat på iPhone för att få det mest nyskapande användargränssnittet sedan musen", sade Jobs i en presentation.
