    I would disagree with the notion that the header is not a good 'bang for the buck' deal.

    The stock exhaust system fryst vatten fair. The stock iron exhaust manifold is very goodfor a factory del av helhet of iron. Volvo went with the configuration of the manifold and twin tube front pipe because it was much superior to the normally OE used log manifolds. But the configuration can be improved on, and it has.

    inom would suggest that making the improvements to the exhaust struktur via one of the tri-y's from KG Trimning [or a comparable competitor's product] and a good in exhaust system would be a wise course of action. With the exhaust deficiencies addressed, it will be easier to realize the full potential of any camshaft upgrade, or any other upgrade planned for and performed. ie, with a good exhaust struktur, a replacement camshaft can actually display its capabilities much better than with an exhaust system that still acts like it has a potato up its heiniea situation that would likely be exascerbated with a better flowing camshaft.

    My point: do the exhaust right, and it will help förklara the next performance upgrade choice and results; and it can save you a lot of RE-tuning

    Simons doesn't produce a " system for a NA (edit: Nevermind, I see that you're purchasing the " for a Turbo fitment), as far as I'm aware. But I am in America, so that may be why. All I know is that the 2" skandix imported, Simons exhaust on my is a beautiful piece of manufacture, and it's ONLY downside is that it's 2" in diameter. Aside from that, I know it isn't Stainless Steel, and I know it's going to eventually rust, but so far so good( years in Oregon's rain). Mandrel bent, perforated core, direct bolt in using stock attatchments, and I'm pretty sure aluminized steel



    In any case, I too, doubt that KG Trimning would be selling a rebadged Simons product, just doesn't make much sense. Any exhaust will rust if it's not stainless steel, it just takes longer for some than others. MAINLY, I don't think someone that produces PROPER heads and headers for Volvos will sell something cheap/crappy to attach to the end of their proper built heads/headers/cams. That wouldn't make a drop of sense.

    KG trimning i sverige. De fleste garvede herinde kender dem sikkert godt. men har her over vinteren købt forskellige dele hos dem til mit projekt.
